While we wait,....

I am sorry that my posts have been a bit scarce these days. Life has been busy at the moment between a baby who is slowly getting his molars (ouch) and play dates and such. Not to mention the projects I have been working hard on. I will be reveling a new line (soon) for my Etsy Site: Trendy Meg. I am super excited about it!! I am sorry that I am being a tease, but trust me, the wait will be worth it!


So until then, take a seat on my virtual couch (isn't it lovely?!)....

Tuesday's Tunes

This past week I scored tickets to go see a "Secret" Concert of one of my all time favorite singers, STING! I couldn't believe that I not only got to go to the show, but I got to sit in the center of the 6th row (which tech. was the third row with three rows of folding chairs in front of us). I had a BLAST!! (Ok, that is an understatement! ha ha) I was able to get some amazing shots at the concert. Hoping to get them posted soon. Yes, he was as handsome in person as he is on TV. ha ha

I thought today that I would share with you one of my favorite songs. Music was written by Dominic Miller (playing the guitar) and lyrics written by Gordon Sumner (aka STING). Sooo good!

Fashion Forward

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in fashion. I get a bit giddy every time my Elle magazine comes in the mail. It's fun to flip through it and dream of buying one of everything. It is interesting how they (Marc Jacobs, Burberry etc) showcase some of the newest, cutest, stylish clothes in the adds. (ie. shoes, clothes, hand bags) They are within themselves pieces of art. I ran across this company the other day called Nadinoo. They are a clothing boutique based in London. Very feminine, whimsy, retro sheek clothing. They came up with a clever way to showcase their clothing,... by creating a lovely music video. Just Brilliant!!

Count Down to Valentine's Day....

I was told by my dear husband that he has a surprise up his sleeve. Of course he had to let me in on part of the secret (so that I could get a sitter for the occasion) but I only know that I need to dress nice. I love surprises! It got me thinking "what will I wear!?" A dress? Skirt? Cute sweater and black pants? It's been freezing lately (literally below zero). I am hoping it warms up by Monday. ::crossing fingers:: If it was warm out, I may be half tempted to run out and buy this dress from Anthro.I have been sooo into Yellow lately. It would be worth the hour drive (so excited that we will have one 15 mins away this summer!!!)

Wouldn't this look cute with a sweet pair of red heels and a white cardigan, red belt and flower patterned clutch? Seeing that a new outfit is out of my budget at the moment,..I may just buy a cute colorful scarf instead. While browsing through one of my favorite online store (Liberty of London) I came across these amazing videos! Thought I would share one with you. French woman have a knack for wearing scarfs. They can make any outfit look stylish! So excited to try this out this weekend. Enjoy!

Valentine Dreams

It is no secret, Valentine's Day is my most favorite holiday! There is something to say about sweet red hearts, romance and chocolate. Ooo it's just lovely. There is nothing that screams romance than Paris! I have had the privilege of visiting this city of love a few years ago, and let me say, there is something in the air. The food, music, fashion and people are all so glamourous. At this point of my life travel isn't high on the priority list, although I am looking forward to the day that I can pack a suitcase and head to Europe again. Until then, I will have to go there virtually. Wouldn't a date in Paris France be a dream? Come along with me.....

Spending a quiet afternoon enjoying the quiet of my home. The sun is out, and it just perfect for an afternoon of sewing. Lately there have been many projects/ideas in my head swirling around. I am feeling inspired! Hoping to finish a few sewing creations and post photos. Until then,.....

Rocking & Rolling

This weekend we were so excited to go and see my brother Luke play with his band 'Speak' at their official CD release party! They put on a great show! We were suprised to see that Liam loved the music as well, so much that he decided he was done with holding our hands, and ventured off on his own. He is now officially walking! (Dancing as well!) It is exciting, yet sad.....my baby is growing up!
