Feeling Inspired

Happy Spring!

Even though I saw some ::gasp:: s-n-o-w today, it's not about to ruin my weekend. I choose to ignore the little white fluffy stuff and enjoy the sun shining. If I don't leave the house, I can just pretend that it's 60 degrees outdoors, right!? Ahhh,...denial is bliss!

I have been working on some new and exciting 'designer' aprons to add to my site. There is something about working with fabrics that you love, that makes the work so much more fun! I love the final result of making something with my own hands, knowing that it will be worn and adored by someone else. It brings me joy!

I am hoping to make it to the Sewing and Quilting Expo tomorrow here in Cleveland to browse and dream up some new ideas to work on next. Lately, I have been inspired by fabric designers like Liberty of London...

And of course,... who doesn't love Amy Butler? I love that she is from Ohio!
Way to represent!!

Don't these fabric designs remind you of warm spring days? Normally I am all basic (modern) red, green, gray and yellows kind of girl,..but lately I am enjoying the lighter side of color.
There is something about fabric that makes my heart pitter patter. ((smile))
What inspires you!?
